Compensation: $1,000/Month
Reports To: General Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a personable, proactive Social Media Coordinator to own the "social" side of Kuju's social media. You'll be the friendly, consistent presence in the comments and DMs of both new posters and a standing list of key accounts, turning one-off content into real, lasting relationships. You'll also fill content gaps with Reels as needed, curating from what the outbound/creative team delivers and shooting your own when nothing's in the queue.

Kuju is independently owned and operated — this role is built for someone who wants real reps, not a maintenance job.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community & Relationship Management (Primary Focus)

  • Post-to-Relationship Handoff: Engage, thank, and stay in regular contact with creator partners to build long-term brand affinity.
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions daily, keeping response times fast and tone on-brand.
  • Relationship Cultivation: Proactively check in with creators and community accounts between posts — this is a relationship-nurturing role, not a one-and-done thank-you.

2. Content Curation & Production (Fill-in-Gap Focus)

  • Reels Output: Edit and publish Reels using content delivered by Kuju's creator team, filling out a target cadence (up to 5x per week) as material allows.
  • Original Capture: Shoot and edit simple original short-form content to cover gaps when sourced content is thin.
  • Content Calendar: Keep a light running calendar so posting stays consistent even when content flow slows down.

3. Communications & Operational Support

  • GM Collaboration: Report weekly on engagement activity, relationship status of key creators/accounts, and content performance.
  • Brand Voice Consistency: Keep comments, DMs, and captions aligned with Kuju's tone and brand guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Location: Remote, must be based in the United States.
  • Core Competency: Genuinely enjoys and is good at online relationship-building — comfortable initiating and sustaining conversations with creators and community members at scale.
  • Content Skills (Secondary): Basic comfort shooting/editing short-form video; doesn't need to be a dedicated editor, just capable when needed. We want real content, not polished.
  • Schedule & Availability: Able to monitor and engage with the community consistently throughout the week, with flexibility around when the work gets done. Available for a biweekly check-in with the General Manager.
  • Mindset: Entry-level to ~2 years experience; a self-starter who's energized by building real relationships online, not just posting content.
