The Position: Operations Associate – Ensure Kuju’s day to day operations run smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities/Tactics:

  • Execute order processing, including confirming purchase orders, coordinating pickups/deliveries, issuing returns or credits, and invoicing.
  • Manage shipping brokers and deliveries to ensure all timely and affordable delivery of product.
  • Negotiate with shipping/logistics brokers to optimize freight expense.
  • Manage a 3rd party warehouse and coordinate to set up new products and formats.
  • Coordinate and communicate closely with sales team and buyers in regard to purchase orders, delivery status, pricing and delivery issues, out of stocks (if applicable) in order to ensure highest levels of customer service.
  • Prepare new item paperwork for sales team.
  • Prepare sales kits/product samples/marketing materials (t-shirts, flyers, coupons, etc.) to mail out to our sales representatives, key buyers and consumer events.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements/Competencies:

  • Ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive
  • Ability to adapt in different scenarios and able to learn fast
  • Proficient at MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets
  • Proficiency in CRM, accounting software, Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • At times, the position requires active movements (standing, preparing samples, and walking up and down stairs with packages). Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds in order to perform essential functions.
