So grab yourself some pour overs and let's get brewing.

Tip #5:

Pull Anchors Up to Remove After Brewing

Why does this matter?

Congratulations. You've anchored the filter to your mug and performed a beautiful pour to brew a fresh cup of Kuju Coffee. Now the only thing standing in between you and your coffee is the filter. But what's the best way to remove it without burning yourself? This tip matters because it makes removing the filter after brewing easier, cleaner and all around more elegant. If you're doing it for the gram, then this tip will help you look like a pro when you capture your next #KujuMoment.

How do you do this?

Often times we see people removing the filter by lifting from the top of the anchors. This works fine, but pulling from the bottom is much easier. After brewing, grab the bottom of the anchors and pull the upward until they come together toward the top. This will create a small bag to hold onto while also closing the filter slightly shut to prevent grounds from coming out. Let the excess liquid drip out and pull the filter away from the cup.

How will this make my Kuju Coffee better?

In terms of making the coffee itself better, this method will prevent grounds from spilling into your coffee when removing the filter. So you'll have a cleaner cup of coffee. However, the real benefit is that it will make your overall experience better. You don't have to worry about accidentally burning yourself and this method also helps reduce the potential mess, so you can rest easy and enjoy your coffee.
